Equipment Loan Closet

UCP has a number of donated items for general public to borrow and use.

***We do not have typical hours for viewing the equipment because the equipment is stored offsite***

Please contact our service coordinators to inquire about equipment and set up an appointment for viewing/checking anything out.

Men's Diapers (looks like underwear)
Sit to Stand with Tray (Fits Youth around 85 pounds)
Stair Lift - not in the loan closet, but we have a contact looking to donate it.

Building Hope - Hope Gospel Mission

  • Building Hope accepts and sells electric wheel chairs and other equipment for people with varying abilities.

Center for Independent Living

  • Similar to Craig's list, you will directly contact the person who has an item you would like.
  • CIL also has a Device Loan and Demonstration Program - 'Try before you buy.'

Chippewa County ADRC

  • Can assist with purchase of Assistive Technology for Chippewa County residents.

ADRC Eau Claire

  • Adaptive equipment is available to borrow for Eau Claire County residents.

VFW-Eau Claire Folsom St.

  • They accept donations for electric wheelchairs and lend them out. It is a free service and you can keep items as long as you need them.
