Adaptive Tricycle Loan Program
UCP of West Central Wisconsin has been granted an exciting opportunity through funding by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to launch an adaptive bike loan program in the Eau Claire area. We are currently in the process of finalizing the planning and purchasing of necessary equipment for this program, but the community can expect to see the program in action in the summer of 2024.
As we grow and evolve with our community, we hope to see a future of expansion in adaptive recreational opportunities offered to the communities we serve. We are initiating change through our own recreational initiative, UCP Explore, and hope that other organizations and presences in our community follow suit. There is a wide array of enriching outdoor activities offered in the Greater Chippewa Valley Area that should be accessible to all. We hope that you join us in this endeavor.
